Going out to places i like with people i like, sport (far too much especially football), politics and current affairs, beer, discovering new ones and new pubs, jumping up and down and round and round at gigs, listing things in the sections below...

I'd give a definative list but that's tedious. Repeatedly played at the minute is: The Decemberists, Jarvis Cocker, Billy Talent, The Enemy (Away from Here is my very loud ringtone), Klaxons, Weezer, Your Favorite Enemies. Still the Raccoons themetune and that irritating song from "snakes on a plane" by Cobra Starship!
And the absolutely bizarre but truly brilliant ATLAS by The Battles. It's Mathy Electro and it's here to stay!

If you know me I'm well rubbish at films. I don't know who played who, in what or even what people look like. That's because most films are crap. The Usual Suspects is the best of the rest. Tarantino was good pre Kill Bill. Cruel Intentions, Casablanca, Gone with the Wind, When Saturday comes, The Great Escape and of course Transformers the Movie! ^_^
Television
Neighbours, The News, Desparate Housewives, QI, Sport, endless Scrubs um er struggling now. Obvious things too. Simpsons, Hollyoaks with my tea. I'm watching an incredible amount of abc1 at the moment while there's no uni going on. Any fellow ceefax fans out there. That's always good.
I use my tv most for playing on my PS2 sadly. It's all about pro evo 6 and bristol city's world domination campaign... And Okami, wow just wow.
Books
My Favourite book is probably Catch-22 but i generally read sci-fi and fantasy novels to take me away from the real world. I live there so why would i want to read about it? Like people, I love books that make me think, to look up into the starlit sky after reading and just wonder.
Douglass Adams, Terry Pratchett, JRR Tolkein (and Chris! - New book out soon fellow fans/geeks), David Brin, CS Lewis, Stephen Donaldson, Anne McCaffrey, Christopher Paolini, Iain M Banks recently and all their worlds and realms have captured me at some point. Apart from that: 1984, Animal Farm, Watership Down and Charlotte's Web still make me cry. Anything really as i love reading.

I've been lucky in my life to have met a few amazingly beautiful people who inspire me to do right by people and be all i can. God that makes me sound like a self righteous idiot but hey it's true! (The true bit rather than the self righteous idiot bit I hope.)

I'm at Aston University here in Birmingham. I'm studying business and international relations. That means i'm learning all the unexciting parts from the business world and topping it off with a mix of politics, history and sociology. It's not great to be honest, but it's left me able to work out what on earth i do want to do while i'm here. Apart from that, uni is the very best thing ever. The people, the um, no it's just living with and going out with some fantastic people. Meeting new people, some who by rights i'd never speak to in the "real" world, learning about them, seeing them grow and letting them inspire me. I run the squash club here. It's funny that i'd never really played squash regularly until here and here i am in charge, and on the team thanks to lazyness of the good players. I'm originally from Bristol but i haven't picked up the accent luckily. I went to stay in a dive of a town called Hyde near Manchester while i went through college, met some great people and re-discovered at least some of my zest for life.
I'm starting to believe that all in all despite being hideous and hideously flawed as a person i'm quite nice. I'm the person to rely on in a crisis even though i'm rubbish at the day to day machinations of life the universe and everything. I'm quite happy in my little world, doing the things i like with the people i like. I'm not bothered anymore about people who aren't in the simplist terms kind, thoughtful and caring.

Josie Maran, simply the most stunning...no not really. Beautiful people aren't always beautiful people. I'd really like to meet more people who inspire me, people who make me think and make me feel, people like my friends.
But for the purposes of this Stephen Fry, Margaret Thatcher and George Galloway would make for a fun evening.
Oh and a girl who I like, who likes me, doesn't have a boyfriend, isn't a lesbian, and who i don't have to move halfway across the country from... Too much to ask for?
