In June of 2006, a storm started brewing in central Kentucky. Over the past few years, after many ups and downs, this "Perfect Storm" if you will has finally become complete and is now ready to take on the world with full force; this storm is Wisdoms Call. After a few final line-up changes between early 2008 and fall of 2009, the most recent of which being the addition of Brandon Ramsey (drums), this band is ready to tear the music industry to shreds!
Wisdoms Call doesn't play around when it comes to writing music. From powerful rhythms that will "bang the head that does not bang," and shredding guitar solos to legitimately beautiful ambience and vocals that range from clear, melodic singing to brutal screams, WC is a musical roller coaster ride. Many have testified to being "converted" to the unique brand of heavy, melodic hard rock that Wisdoms Call brings to the table. And this buzz is not due to mere "studio tricks" alone; this band brings a highly energetic show that draws crowds and even on their worst day has the mosh pit going in full force.
Just as well as the musical aspect, Wisdoms Call also sees no need to hold back with what these four dudes uphold as the most important part of their "mission": the message. With lyrics that have all been taken from even the most difficult real-life experiences and crafted to be applied to the hearts and lives of the listeners, Wisdoms Call sees it as their duty - you might even say their "calling in life" - to use their musical abilities as a platform to deliver a positive message and even be used to change lives for the better.
