About me:

WHAT IS THE AWAKENING?
Every Sunday evening at 6:30 PM IN GREENWICH VILLAGE! 115 MacDougal St between 3rd St and Bleecker. Don't fit in at Church??? Yeah, neither do we. Come experience God at The Awakening Church with experiential worship including drama, live music, art and prayer stations and more. We bring Truth through cultural relevance. A Church for artists, musicians, actors and YOU! We are currently in a 6 week series on Messy Spirituality and giving everyone a copy of the amazing book of the same title by Mike Yacconeli until supplies run out. We hope this book will help everyone see how God knows that we are all a mess and that none of us are ever good enough. If you came during our first 6 preview services please come check The Awakening Church out one more time. We are so excited to have now hired an incredible experiential worship leader, Ian Heikel to our staff. The Awakening Church is a church at The Players Theatre in Greenwich Village. We are a Church that has a desire to bring Truth and Faith through cultural relevance. The Awakening is a church for those tired of playing church. It is a for those that want to be the church. It is a place where people can come as they are and also who they are. We feel this is important because so many think they need to act or be a certain way before attending many churches. Jesus actually was quit the opposite on that theory and says in Matthew, "Jesus said, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. 13 But go and learn what this means: 'I desire mercy, not sacrifice.' For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners." If you have ever felt pushed away, that you didn't know enough about the Bible, that you didn't pray enough, that you weren't spiritual enough, that you didn't fit in with the 'church-crowd', then we encourage you to check out The Awakening Church! The Players Theatre 115 MacDougal St. NY, NY 10012

For the LORD gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding.

    Have a blessed day:)

Those who know your name trust in you, for you, O Lord, have never abandoned anyone

who searches for you. ~Psalm 9:10

Even if my father and mother abandon me, Lord will hold me close. ~Psalm 27:10

And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor, who will never leave you. ~John 14:16

We are hunted down, but God never abandons us. We get knocked down, but we get up and keep going.~ 2 Corinthians 4:9

“What is occurring in our country today is the moral equivalent of war.” It is a civil war of values and ideas, a life and death struggle for the soul of America. God will not forever bless any nation that turns away from him. No nation that allows drugs to make its way from far-off areas to the United States and destroy its families, promote immorality, worship materialism, deify man, remove the knowledge of God, enthrone paganism, and “de-moralize” its teenagers, No nation can do that, and prosper forever. A great moral awakening must take place, or the Lord himself must descend from heaven. In either event, God will not be silent forever!

Do You Believe A Revival Can Happen in NYC? March 21, 2009

    BRYANT PARK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Be THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    12-4pm

    Joel 2:15-17
Blow the trumpet in Zion, declare a holy fast, call a sacred assembly, gather the people, consercrate the assembly; bring together the elders, gather the children, those nursing at the breast. Let the bridegroom leave his room and the bride her chamber. Let the priests, who minister before the Lord, weep between the temple porch and the alter. Let them say, "Spare your people, O Lord. Do not make your inheritance an object of scorn, or by word among the nations.
Why should they say among the peoples, where is their God?"

Don't you think it's time that the people who are called by God's name would humble themselves and pray and seek my face, turn from their wicked ways, so He can bring healing to the city [2 Chronicles 7:14]
