Influences
Daniel:
early influences were punk like NoFX, Lagwagon, No Use. Ataris got me into
playing the guitar, Jimmy Eat World got me into that emotional mid 90ies
stuff like Mineral, Christie Front Drive, Penfold, New End Original (Better
than this might still be one of the 5 best songs ever written) or Get Up
Kids. Appleseed Cast got me into longer songs, more epic, less pop, less
singing, like Mono, Red Sparowes, Explosions in the Sky, later I discovered
some hardcore stuff which still has to be passionate and melodic, like
Julia, La Quiete, Saddest Landscape, Isis and now it's a mixture of all mentioned
above (except for the punk part) and a lot of bands and people I got to know
through trading and shows, like Mr Willis of Ohio, Kenzari's Middle Kata,
Grave, Shovel... Let's Go!, Kitty Empire, Rabbit Theory, Petethepiratesquid
and loads of others

Offspring, Green Day, Blink 182, Sum 41, Paradise Lost, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Smashing Pumpkins, Moonspell, Metallica, Rage against the Machine, Creed, Fury in the Slaughterhouse, Aerosmith, Guns N Roses, Jimmy Eat World, The Doors, Pink Floyd, Dire Straits, Eric Clapton, Elliot Smith, Bon Jovi, Beatles, Marilyn Manson and many more, but i think all bands listed here had or still have a great impact on my play. Through the last years i had to add a few bands like Red Sparrows, Isis, Appleseed Cast, God is an Astronaut...

we're a fourpiece from Munich, Germany playing "a mix of classic emo (julia),
indie / emo (mineral) and post rock. you get build ups, twinkles, singing, sobbing,
lengthy instrumental parts, and explosions" (that's what andy malcolm

since our beginning in 2002 we played about 80 shows in Germany, Austria and
Switzerland.
