When it comes to song writing and composing the Wish You Well ethos is simple if it sounds like anything else it gets scrapped no matter how good it sounds. Its original or not at all!
This webpage is primarily concerned with old Wish You Well recordings and Wish You Wells mandolin music so if theres a recording you'd like to see on this site please drop me a line and if i can find it I'll put it on the site!

Wish You Well History
After a decade of playing rock as fast and heavy as anyone and much to the bemusement of friends and colleges I left the rock world and instead explored a plethora of music genre before settling in the folk idiom.
The culmination of much hard work came in 1998 with an album of
feelgood songs about Cornwall, I re-titled myself Wish You Well so as to reflect the positive nature of the music. By the spring the first album Way Down Ere was released achieving airplay on local radio stations and good sales in music stores throughout Cornwall with copies winging their way around the globe!
Way Down Ere was put together on a budget of zero with every possible corner cut, so as well as writing all the songs and playing all the instruments I also recorded mixed produced engineered and controlled distribution of the album by myself.
To keep Wish You Well in the public domain I invited fellow musicians to join me at first as duos then later as trios and quartets. The Wish You Well live band became an ideal vehicle for fellow musicians between bands and those just entering the music scene to learn their trade. With new members constantly bringing their own input to the live band we took on pretty much anything in one twelve month period we played ; a medieval banquet, folk , country, blues, 60s,70s,rock and carol concerts as well as giving solo classical recitals.
It was during this hectic and highly successful period that ill health really began to wield its hand and just as Wish You Well seemed destined for great things I was forced into a very lengthy and frustrating lay off. It was during this long period of convalescence that to make ends meet I was forced to put out very inferior 2nds of the 1st album as well as putting out an unfinished 2nd album. September 2000 was the official launch of album 2 'Travelling Companions' which a fragile series of promotional concerts followed.
Over a year elapsed before a brand new bigger and better Wish You Well live band was reformed complete with strings and wind sections the band became more like a mini orchestra forging strong links with local youth music. After another period of great success I felt the time was right to allow the talented youngsters to go on their own creating several good bands. I retitled myself Aidan of Wish You Well specializing on mandolin and mandola and have combined this with extensive youth music work ever since.
During summer 2005 there was a revival of interest and a resurgence in sales of the early Wish You Well material aided no doubt by some high profile appearances at festivals and performances as far north as Durham and Buxton. So several hundred more copies of the recently digitally re-mastered ‘Way Down Ere’ went out into circulation. On the back of this I restarted the Wish You Well live band along its original principles initially forming up to provide music for medieval banquets with an alternate line up for weddings, special occasions etc. The later part of 2006 has been spent picking through the unfinished 2nd album ‘Travelling Companions’ adding all that had to be missed out in the turbulence of 2000 with a view to the general release of the finished ‘Travelling Companions’ album in 2007.
I'm sorry about that I must have told you the wrong one.
That's funny because I tried that one a while ago too, the one I gave you, and it made me all crazy because they sucked real bad, and they didn't pay too good either they offered like tickets and stuff instead of money.
But anyways, the right site is

it's the one I am making $700 a week with putting in about 23 hours a week, sometimes up to like 30 hours if I'm motivated.
After you get your membership make sure you register with with the companies on page one in the members section because they are the ones that pay pay top dollars, I got $50 for one that took me 45 minutes today. You'll see what I'm rambling about when you start up.
Jessica started taking them too and she's making $700 a week, it's making me so mad because I'm the one that showed her which one to sign up with now she's making more than me.
Alright well me and Blake are getting ready to leave, just give me a call or I'll meet you on here and let me know if you have any problems with your membership. TTYS hun
If you want to do me a favour, you can download my songs for FREE at www. openpot. com/ingogabriel. It..s an interesting concept: The artist is paid by openpot, the user downloads for free, he just has to watch 10 sec of commercial till the downloadbutton appears. Have a look and don..t be bothered by the fact, that you have to create an account there, its free and doesn..t take long. You really would do me a favour:)
