This hardcore act was formed in 1996 in Arboga, Sweden. Within Reach started out as a joke and side-project but after being offered a slot on a compilation on Wounded Records, they began to take it more seriously. After a self financed CD they hooked up with the new sublabel to Burning Heart -Sidekicks Records, which was the homebase for Within Reach the next three years. After three releases Within Reach and Sidekicks parted ways and their new home became Bad Taste Records. The last two years included two album releases and extensive touring w/ bands like 59 Times the Pain, Nine, Raised Fist, The Haunted, 1125, Amulet, Sick of it All, AFI all over Europe and Canada until the band decided to quit in late 2001. By then the music had turned much darker, downtuned and overall more chaotic and due to musical differences the members parted ways. Members of Within Reach can now be found in bands like Mollys Gusher, All Hell, Franky Lee and Blinded Colony.
