What are the critics saying about
Without Until Featuring Scott Quinn and Lee Venters?
""On the music, it is great and it is definitely Scott Quinn. I can imagine seeing Scott's right hand rev up before the left. It (Without Until's debut album) sounds like the Best amalgamation of McLaughlin, Dimeola and Flim and the BB's. I expected it to be good, so there wasn't a shock there. And the band is hot, which makes it fun. An overall great piece of work." Lee Jackson (legendary amp Guru/producer)
""Guitarist Scott Quinn combines the acoustic sensibilities of John McLaughlin with the compositional edges of King Crimson and a taste of Branford Marsalis' Buckshot LeFonque to come up with "Without Until", a mostly instrumental record featuring the thrilling drumming of Lee Venters. It's a record made for fans of groove and fusion music." John Stix (Cherry Lane Music)
"you will not believe your ears or your eyes,
these virtuoso vets will rock your punk ass." The Whiskey
"Without Until with Scott Quinn on guitar and Lee Venters on drums and percussion are not unlike the trend setting Mahavishnu Orchestra." Jeff Reid, Editor, The Beat Magazine
"(Scott and Lee) have plenty to be excited about as they poured their melodic magic into their debut CD... a journey.. that takes listeners through world fusion jazz that fuses elements from around the world....from rock and Mid-eastern music, to Spanish guitar and Delta Blues, the record
is a smorgasbord of not only disciplines, but Wilmington talent as well." Richard Kinback, Encore
"Without Until (are) Jazz Fusion's Next
Champions....Next level, mind blowing and soul moving Jazz Fusion...
From the sound of their new record, they could very well be the father's of a
new age of fusion in the south!" Chris Wells, Editor, The Village Idiot
