For more than a decade, Downfall has pummeled the Pittsburgh area with its own, harsh brand of heavy metal. When there were no metal bands being played on the radio, Downfall stood proud, waving the flag of metal for all to see. Never have they backed down from the soothsayers proclaiming metal to be a thing of the past.
In the face of so much adversity, Downfall has surged forward taking the negativity and manifesting it into more brutal and emotional songs. Now it seems metal is making a comeback of sorts on the radio.
Downfall is currently taking some time away from the stage to compose a new arsenal of emotional, gut-wrenching, heavy ditties. During this break, the group is taking the time to reorganize, evaluate themselves and the music, and rekindle the fire that has motivated them thus far. This has brought Downfall back to the root of everything....metal flows through their veins, makes them who they are....the music IS Downfall's life.
