Lightman Wizard JD, who was responsible for the beautiful light shows during our club run in the 70's and 80's,provided an amazing light show, and Marc Allan, one of our former soundmen,provided the sound!
Lots of Classic Rock was performed.....the difficult stuff...that only Witness could perform to the tee! There were sets of Tull,Genesis,Yes,The Who...even Billy Joel,performed by Roy Altemus in honor of Billy Spence!
It was a great event. Hopefully "Witness" wil be back onstage again soon. We'll have to wait and see!

Formed in the late 70's, Witness entertained hundreds of thousands (if not millions!) of loyal fans before their final curtain call in the early 90's.
The band website witness-rocks.com is growing from our memories, over 300 photos, and hundreds of video clips, and artifacts which have survived the ravages of time!
JD served as Lighting and Special effects designer / director for the band from 1979 to 1986. He is responsible for that great Witness website,which has brought the band back to life, with hundreds of Videos and Photos of the band posted there!
We are happy to say that all of the members are not only alive today, but some are downright thriving! With their help, we are trying to give the new generation a peak a what a great time we had back then, as well as provide a cyber scrapbook to our members and loyal fans.

The quality is certainly not as good as your videos, but hey, it's tape and it's as good as it's ever gonna be. But, not a bad documentation of that time! Hope you are having a great week!
I was down Wildwood this week for some RandR with my wife and cruised by some of the old clubs ("the block that rocks") and I swear I could hear Witness coming from them old buildings. At least what is left of them. I still think you should do a few shows this summer....
When I moved here from upstate New York Witness was one of the first bands I saw at the Saloon in Berlin NJ I could not believe what I was hearing Yes, Genesis,Hocus Pocus!!!!! By far the best band I have ever heard in my life. Thanx for the memories and the ad hope all of you are well and happy wherever you may be.
I tried to get back into town for the Reunion Show and it's not going to happen. Sorry. I am with you in spirit Mitch, Roy and JD. Why don't you guys play a reunion tour this summer and line-up 5 or 6 gigs. I can't wait a year for the next show. Give'em hell today! Dash

AMAZING is the only word to describe your reunion gig on Saturday! You sound even better than what I remembered :-) Hopefully, this will be an ongoing trend for you guys to get together & do a public gig every now & then.
