About the Monomyth EP: "One of the more conceptually interesting ones I have heard." - Steven Archer, guitarist and co-founder of industrial rock group Ego Likeness
SHORT STORY:
Witness The Apotheosis is Athens, Georgia's top New Wave-Industrial band. The band seeks to explore different states of the human psyche through dark lyrics and electronic music. Their sound has been compared to bands such as Depeche Mode, Bauhaus, and Hocico.
WtA hopes to further the electronic music scene of the Atlanta/Athens area, as well as extend their reach across the globe to all who enjoy industrial music.

LONG STORY:
In the beginning, there was nothing.
A while later...
Terance and Zak formed the band in mid-2007 after meeting through a student organization and a darkwave concert. The idea came when Terance suggested the concept of the band and Zak provided the means to create.
With Terance's inspiration and Zak's musical methods, Witness The Apotheosis was born.
The band thrives on the constant checks put on each of the band members--Zak continuously pulling Terance back from his rock roots into electronic music, and Terance repeatedly pulling Zak away from his electro-progressive beginnings to a more dark sound. This tension provides the sound experienced by everyone who hears it.
The music of Witness The Apotheosis seeks to entertain and explore, providing an enjoyable sound while simultaneously delving into different aspects of human states of mind. The band has performed with bands of varying genres in a variety of settings.
