WITNESS is one of band in Turkey which is the initiator of Thrash Metal that was set up with Serkan Dincs leadership (Guitar-Vocal) and Hakan Dinc in 1989. In that years Thrash Metal's superiority was important to show WITNESS kind of music. WITNESS gave their first concert in 1st April 1990 and they were liked by authoraty. They started going surely on their career way. Besides the positive reactions WITNESS got in their concerts caused to be forgotten a lot of bands who are from Bursa/Turkey with their stage shows that wasn't done by a lot of metal bands up to now and their life style about rock life philosophy except stage. WITNESS gave 189 concerts until 2001 and they have big fan group in Bursa-Eskisehir-Izmit-Ankara etc. After this year WITNESS also became a really huge Thrash Metal band that is loved and looked for in the concerts and their named changed as " Headliner " By the way WITNESS had a part in plenty of magazines and TV. Some of them are Metal Hammer, Laneth, Flash TV and etc. WITNESS had a part in fanzine which are published especially in Belgium, Netherland and Greece except local newsagents and they record 3 demos. WITNESS that took a rest to join the army in 1995 despite of their successful performance 3rd Rockstation Festival in 2000 they decided to take a rest for a while their music life because of negative criticisms and they reached a decision after they gave the concert which was given with Thrash and Heavy Metal's Antisilence etc. in Turkey in " Rock On The Stage Festival" (2001) that was their last concert in Bursa. 6 year after WITNESS started Thrash Attack and studio works.. Today WITNESS s strongest and hateful !! and they comes back for the all Thrash Metal fans..
