Gern im Midtempo grooven die Thüringer, manchmal gehts tempomäßig bergauf. Dazu grunzt Kollege Zenkert wie Kamerad heiserer Hirsch, das Schlagzeug bollert gern und doppelt[...] .... .. .. metalzone.gr - 80%.... [...]Throwing a glance in artwork, it is obvious that the band has passion for their material because everything seems to be professional enough despite tha album is self-financed.[...].... .. fatal underground - ..[...]fällt es mir schwer das Gehörte treffend zu beschreiben - geschweige in eine bestimmte Metalsparte zu packen . Schwierige, aber brutal gute Mucke - soviel vorweg . Schon der instrumentale Opener ("Immunity to Life") erinnert mich an die alte Schule der ..90iger Death - / Black Metalschmiede. Und gleich bei Track 2 ("Thy Fall into Oblivion") wird klar, daß hier ein erfrischend old schooliges Werk ansteht mit netten Gitarrenfrickeleien & einem Gemisch aus feinsten tiefen Growls und harsch den Ohrnerv treffenden Black Metal Screams[...]...... .. Vampster.de.... Die fleißigen Studenten von WITTICISM widmen sich nicht nur der Wissenszufuhr fürs Köpfchen, sondern lassen diesem auch etwas Zugluft zukommen, wenn sie ihn zum gut gespielten Death / Black Metal herumwirbeln.[...] ...... .. metal.de - 6/10.. ... ...... .... Witticism [read: "wittisism"] was formed November the 25th 2004 in Ilmenau by Feliks Weber (Drums) and Stefan Zenkert (Vocals, Guitar) as a proper compensation to their studies of Mediatechnological Engineering. Only a few days later they found in Valery P. Engelhardt the perfect cast for their lead guitar... [...].. Tom Täfler has been working the Bass till June, the 16th 2005. That day Marcus Zenkert (Disangelium, Guitar) joined Witticism as the new Bassist... [...].. Everything it seems turned out to be good since now - despite the average quality of our last (home-recorded) CDs we received many concert-offers and we..d love to do more....... Gigs with HEAVEN SHALL BURN, ILLDISPOSED, Korades(D), Tourettes(AUS), SleepytimeGorillaMuseum(USA) and many more assure us to be heading the right direction!....
