I have been playing DnD since I was fourteen. Although I was really attached to three oh and three five, as my strongest and most beloved DnD memories are tied to this system, for me four oh occurred at just the right time. I love it dearly and I'm already in the midsts of forming lasting memories to it as well.

Anyway, thanks for giving an awkward and weird girl a way to spend her time. My only regret is that I don't have more time to spend playing it.

P.S. - I miss Gary Gygax. I wish I could have met him.

Loving 4E, sadly we only get to play every other week, not nearly enough.

I haven't played DnD in 5 years. But the other day i was helping a friend move, i found a 20 sided die, rolled it and got a 20. (He got a 4). Brought back a lot of memories.

Oh man, none of you are probably going to read this but whatever. You guys have kind of lost me with 4e, I can see why some would like it, but it's just not my cup of tea. But anyways thanks for all the fun you guys gave me with 3.x, and good luck with everything.

Thanks for accepting our friend request! Table-top RPG designers everywhere owe a debt of gratitude to the Dungeons & Dragons game system (in all of its incarnations). If not for being introduced to D&D back in the 80’s, my life would have been a lot less positive and creative. For the past decade or so WotC has done a fantastic job of keeping the market wide open, alive with quality and interesting products, and in the main stream. For that we are also greatful.

About me:

.. ..
Dungeons & Dragons is a fantasy game of your imagination. It's part acting, part storytelling, part social interaction, part war game, and part dice rolling. You and your friends create characters that develop and grow with each adventure they complete. One player is the Dungeon Master (DM). The DM controls the monsters and enemies, narrates the action, referees the game, and sets up the adventure. Together, the Dungeon Master and the players make the game come alive.

Looking for Players and Dungeon Masters:

If you're searching for a new gaming group, there are a number of resources to try. On the message boards, you'll find a listing of players looking for groups to join. There's even a Meetup.com network, for D&D players in your area.

You might also consider the RPGA, the Roleplaying Gamers Association—this is the official network dedicated to providing play opportunities and support for Dungeons & Dragons and other d20 System games.
