Following an impressive debut album in 2007, The Book of Wizdom, Seattle emcee, Wizdom, released, Music: Soul of the Man. This disc promises to present improvement due to optimal focus, vigorous dedication and hard work. Teamed up with Maryland producer, Epidemmik, for every song on this album, the duo provide a unique and enjoyable sound. This album examines the personal feelings of music and how it relates to these cross-coastal musicians.
The album features a solid variety of artists. Seattle Seahawks wide receiver, Nate Burleson (New Balance), appears on the posse track, “Keep on Moving” along with local heavy weights, Cancer Rising, and Ol Dominion veteran Bishop-I. Octane of Subterraneous Records in Michigan appears on the track, “Ever Since” with Thig Natural of Seattle’s popular duo, The Physics. Seattle favorite, Grynch, is featured on the tongue in cheek, NAW. And crooner, Ike James, joins Wizdom on the mellow and crisp, Imagine. At just exactly 40 minutes and 12 total tracks, this CD delivers!

"Wizdom is the voice, and being from Seattle, one can say that Music: Soul Of The Man represents Seattle hip-hop at its finest. Epidemmik is the producer, and being from D.C., one can say that the album represents D.C. at its finest. As a unit, the album represents rap music at its best. The soul of hip-hop is dead? Not if Wizdom and Epidemmik have a say in things." - John Book of okayplayer and The Run-Off Groove
"As he demonstrated on his first disc, Wiz is one of the more talented MCs toiling in Seattle hip-hopdom's subterranean zone, a brutally honest self-efacer with the sack to make his music painfully personal. (the disc is) what it should be—better than the first. Developing artists should always strive to put their previous work, no matter how delicioso, to shame; it's a sign of maturation."
- Kevin Capp, Seattle Weekly
“The album benefits from Wizdom's sense of humor and perspective, as well as his unwillingness to shy away from discussing the politics of hip-hop” – Katelyn Hackett, Seattlest
“You'll hear people talk about "real rap" and ironically enough people are subjectecd to the world of "reality television" a la WWF type "entertainment" of current times. No way am I comparing Wizdom to reality television, but what I am sayin is that his raps are real. Some shit that you can relate to and understand what comes from the mind of one Wizdom.”
– Hugh L, Seattle Hip Hop Examiner
