I am a rather large Harry Potter nerd. In fact, I promised the world I would never get a myspace, but have caved for one reason, and one reason only: Wizard Rock. I can't get enough of it. There is so much great (and terrible) Wrock out there, that I couldn't help but connect myself with it.
Now, let me say this now... I have no talents musically whatsoever. I cannot play any instruments. I cannot sing. I cannot even write lyrics. It is for these reasons that I cling desperately to those who can (in a manner of speaking). I am a Fangirl and darn proud of it. Caring about musicians who speak to my soul is what keeps me going much of the time. I may lead a crazy life, but I like to balance it with my downtime, which consists of finding all the new Wrock news and listening to more and more music.
My Muggle Self:
I am actually an English major at Chico State and have officially decided that when I graduate with my BA in English, I will also have earned my Certificate in Literary Editing and Publishing. I hope, should I go into Publishing, to be the next Arthur A. Levine, for those who recognize the name. ;)
I love working in theatre, mainly the technical aspect, so I've been doing whatever I can at the Chico Cabaret to get some good lovin' in. I mostly work with lighting and sound. I hope one day to be able to actually do the full lighting design for a show, figuring out the grid and everything. Alas, my learning has not yet progressed so far.
For those who are unfamiliar with me, I am a total nerd. Whenever I have time, I run around campus every friday night with about 30 other people, pretending to be a vampire. It's a LARP (live action role play) game. Quite a lot of fun, in fact. I also enjoy a good game of D&D and other tabletop games.
Harry Potter Club!
It's happened! The Harry Potter Club has finally come to fruition! The myspace page is totally weak so far, but it's up at least! Meetings have begun, so has the fun! We should be doing all sorts of nifty things! For at least a little more detail, check out the info on the myspace page (linked above)! Woot!
My Goals in Life:
It is my ultimate goal to accomplish two major things: write my dissertation on Harry Potter (leading to me teaching a class at the university level about the series), and make the Harry Potter tabletop manual. Yes, I know I'm a loser.

I'd also love to meet Emerson and the rest of the Mugglenet team. They're just so rockin', I don't know what to do with myself.
Even more, I would just love to meet Harry Potter fans everywhere. I love finding more people who share something that is so close to my heart.

Oh gosh, am I ashamed right now? Yes, I think I am. I'm so sorry, but I missed it! You see, on the same day, there was this movie convention in Älvsjö, so I had to priority that (personal reasons, I'm so sorry :()
