WLIW21’s programming spans all genres — from music, travel, culture, and lifestyle series/specials to self-help, the arts, documentary, drama, and how-to programs — to truly reflect the community that financially supports the non-profit station and helps keep it commercial-free.

WLIW21 takes this commitment to diversity even further in its role as major producer and distributor of series and specials for the other 350+ public television stations across the US. Fundraising specials like Billy Joel: The Stranger Live, Celtic Thunder, Visions of Italy, and Stay Rich Forever and Ever with Ed Slott (among more than a hundred others) have raised millions of dollars in support of public broadcasting in the last decade.
