Bill Walker creates elctronica and downtempo music from his home studio in Santa Clara and nomadically from coffee shops and moving trains. He has created music for theatre productions at San Francisco Shakespeare Festival (Comedy of Errors, Two Gentlemen of Verona, Midsummer Night's Dream), Pear Avenue Theatre (Tales of the Lost Formicans, Arcadia) and the University of Illinois Theatre Department (The Crucible). He can he heard performing jazz and rock keyboard around the bay with the Penguin Jazz Quartet and the Roger Steen Band. He holds a Ph.D from University of Illinois, where he studied jazz piano with Tony Caramia and electronic composition with Scott Wyatt.
