Music provided by YERBABUENA and poetry from DreamYard A.C.T.I.O.N students from 7 to 8pm followed by the screening of short films. The Film Festival will be showcasing poignant short films that celebrate all kinds of families and various communities from New York City and beyond. The festival will feature films with various themes from environmental justice to the prison industrial complex. Families & Communities are formed when people get together to share, build and collaborate. Every family and neighborhood is different yet we all have underlying connections.
