About me:

Wing & A Prayer Dance Company (WNP) is an inter-generational modern dance company that uses creative and modern dance to explore universal themes which connect us as human beings. The Company seeks to increase the appreciation for the art of dance and contribute to dance education through instruction and performance. Check out our new website: www.wnpdance.org Co-founded in 1992 by Deborah Breen Smith and Sara Bogard, WNP is based in Reno, NV and works on the premise that dance is uplifting, thought provoking, and a source for transcending cultural and economic barriers. Our typical season runs May through March and concludes with our annual Flights on Foot Concert. Our repertory includes works created by our own dancers as well as guests artists. Who I'd like to meet:

Dancers, choreographers, volunteeers, and supporters who would like to get involved with the company. The dance company is available for booking: private parties, conventions, or any other promotional events your business might have. WNP is also seeking volunteers, business sponsors, and board members. This is a great opportunity for young professionals to “give back” to the community and help out a fantastic organization that really needs your help!

    Soooo, are you considering coming to the World Dance Open Floor on February 20th? It's a short drive to Carson City and Comma Coffee is across the street from the State Legislature building, you can't miss it!

    Tell you more. . . OK, on the third Friday of the month dancers gather at Comma Coffee, 312 S. Carson St, Carson City, to showcase their Art. Dance from anywhere in the WORLD is welcome on the Comma Coffee stage. It is free, all ages fun. We DANCE FOR DONATIONS for local kids Arts programs. February is dedicated to the Childrens Museum of Northern Nevada, March is focused on Strings in the Schools and so on. No drama, just dancing!
