About me:
Reggae Vibrations is Chicago's longest-running reggae radio show. It has been named "Best Reggae Radio Show" in the Chicago Music Awards and on jamaicans.com. It airs on Saturday nights, on 89.3FM in Chicago, on the airwaves of WNUR.
Founded in 1950, WNUR 89.3 FM, Northwestern Universitys student-run radio station, is the largest student-run radio station in the United States.
WNUR broadcasts daily to 2.5 million people in Chicago, at 7200 watts, making it one of the most powerful college radio signals nationwide. It reaches audiences from its Evanston base all the way north to the Wisconsin border and south to the Chicago Loop.
Through its online streaming audio at www.wnur.org, WNUR reaches listeners worldwide.
Spin Magazine recently chose WNUR as the best U.S. college station. Our award-winning music programming spans all genres, including rock, electronic and hip-hop shows, live in-studio performances, and jazz shows that have been recognized by CNN and the New York Times.
