What came first, the music or the misery? People worry about kids playing with guns, or watching violent videos, that some sort of culture of violence will take them over. Nobody worries about kids listening to thousands, literally thousands of songs about heartbreak, rejection, pain, misery and loss. Did I listen to pop music because I was miserable? Or was I miserable because I listened to pop music? -Rob (High Fidelity)
About me: People usually call me Rachel, and I was born 21 years ago. I enjoy a variety of things. I like the way the word ocean sounds. I can't sit still to watch a movie unless it's hilarious or horrific. I hate Florida & Pennsylvania. I try to live beyond my years, and that usually back fires. I go through phases of being obsessed with things, right now it happens to be: nature walks, potatoes, cowboy boots, Asians, tiny chihuahuas, Amish people, Activities for people 21+, diet coke, and winter mint orbit.
.the ones you can't even live without.
.or maybe the ones you don't want to live without.
Im getting into you
Because you got to me
In a way words cant describe
Im getting into you
Because Ive got to be
Youre essential to survive
Im going to love you with my life -RK
So how's everything going so far? Have you had a chance to check out the area much? I really didn't like the York area at all until I got involved with the York Jaycees (a social/community service organization for people ages 21-40) and made some friends. I feel like I have a pretty good idea of what there is to do around here--well in York anyways, I don't even know where Marietta is--so let me know if you'd like to grab some coffee and maybe check out some of the cute little shops downtown. I'm always up for making a new friend.
