The Colgate Country Showdown is a nationwide talent search designed to find the most promising country music talent in America and to give these performers a chance to launch their professional music careers... .. ..It’s simple! All you have to do is fill out the entry form and mail it or bring it into 101.9 The Wolf at 1436 Auburn Boulevard, Sacramento, CA 95815. With your entry include an audio CD with two (2) of your best songs. All entries and audio CDs must be in the offices of 101.9 The Wolf by Monday, May 18th. All entries will be viewed and those selected will competed at the local preliminary competitions in hopes of advancing to the regional finals... ..The Showdown is open to vocal and/or instrumental performers, individuals, or groups of up to seven members who have not performed on a record listed in the national record charts of Radio and Records or Media Audit within eighteen months preceding local competition... ..Click Here For Entry Form.. .. .. ..Note: All those selected to compete at any of the events above must submit a $15 entry fee per act and all contestants must begin their competition by performing at the performances produced by 101.9 The Wolf... ..The winner of the 101.9 The Wolf Northern California Competition will advance to the California State Finals. The entry fee includes the green fee, cart, awards buffet, and adult beverages during the tournament. We will have coolers stocked with adult beverages every few holes. Pyramid Alehouse has signed on to pour some of their best ales free of charge to all tournament players. Erin Larson and her gang at The Head Game (theheadgame.com for men) will be providing haircuts, massages, and facials. Yes, I said facials. You can never look too good:)
