To understand totem wolf symbols, one must first understand the heart of the Wolf. This takes time because the Wolf has had to endure many false stereotypes, misconceptions and misunderstandings.
Some common traits that accompany totem wolf symbols:
Intelligence, Cunning, Communication, Friendliness, Loyalty, Generosity and Compassionate
Not at all the picture of ferocity or terror, the Wolf is a creature with a high sense of loyalty and strength. Another misconception is that of the “lone wolf.” To the contrary, the Wolf is actually a social creature, friendly, and gregarious with its counterparts.
The Wolf is an incredible communicator. By using touch, body movements, eye contact as well as many complex vocal expressions – the wolf makes his point understood. Those with totem wolf symbols are of the same inclination – they are expressive both vocally and physically. Those who have the wolf as their totem animal are naturally eloquent in speech, and also have knack for creative writing.
Totem wolf symbols belong to those who truly understand the depth of passion that belong to this noble creature. The Wolf is a representative of deep faith, and profound understanding.
Further, the Wolf possess a high intellect, and have been observed using strategies about hunting, habitat and migration.
If you are looking for a new, always faithful best friend...look no further than your local dog pound! Please consider a pound puppy or dog rather than buying a puppy from a backyard breeder, a puppy mill puppy from a pet store or from an Amish breeder.
If a dog were your teacher you would learn things like...
When loved ones come home always run to greet them.
Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride.
Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure ecstasy.
Take naps.
Stretch before rising.
Run, romp and play daily.
Thrive on attention and let people touch you.
Avoid biting when a simple growl will do.
On warm days stop to lie on your back on the grass.
On hot days drink lots of water and lie under a shady tree.
When you're happy dance around and wag your entire body. Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.
Be loyal.
Never pretend to be something you're not.
If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.
When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by and nuzzle them gently.

Books
Have been an avid reader since I was a small child, too numerous to mention but do not care for fiction, the internet seems to have replaced my book reading so much.

You, The Great Spirit, Spirit of Zen Budda, Mother Theresa, Al Gore, John Fitzgerald Kennedy, Bill and Hillary Clinton, Firefighters, all US Military & Law Enforcement including Animal Humane Law Enforcement.
Walking in the woods with my best friends, a Siberian Husky and a Wolfdog, spirituality, simple pleasures...the song of a bird, the howls of my wolfdog, a milkshake at the drivein, smiling at all who exit the grocery store, laying in the grass, walking in the falling snow, saving Mother Earth, music and meaningful conversation. I like to surround myself with old things, all my furniture is antique, am an avid collector of rocks, a tree hugger, a peace keeper, a seeker and lover of all things in nature. I work directly with dog and wolfdog rescue organizations and am also concerned and involved in the peace movement and sustainability of Earth by recycling everything.

L♥VE SWEET L♥VE
Love is a symbol of eternity.
It wipes out all sense of time,
destroying all memory of a beginning
and all fear of an end.
L♥VE SWEET L♥VE
Suppose I am one of the original hippies of the 60's.
I abhor plastic, styrofoam, waste of anything and those who believe humans are not responsible for global warming and the extinction of countless species. My heart and soul cry out and bleed for wolves, Polar Bears, whales and all other sentient beings humans seek to destroy for sport or pleasure. The cruelty and torture done to dogs and other animals by the human species make me sick.
Mitakuye Oyasin......We Are All Related
"If you talk to animals, they will talk to you and you will know each other...if you do not talk to them, you will not know them and what you do not know you will fear. What one fears one destroys."
Chief Dan George
"When comes the time to leave the world someday...
What we get to keep is what we gave away."
Emanate Your Love To All Of Nature
For God is the accumulated Nature Spirit.
For to subjugate Nature, to abandon Nature is to abandon God.
As human is the only creature in the universe to subjugate and abandon Nature/God.
Human is the only creature on earth that generates the 'otherwise' energy or what you would call 'evil'.
Evil does not exist in Nature/God.
You're with God otherwise you're with evil.
It is increasingly more difficult for me to be around those who give off negative vibes, I like to help others along their way in life as much as possible but some never learn they are in control of themselves and their actions, positive or negative, right or wrong at the time, we are each in charge of our own destiny and it is up to us what we do with that power the Great Spirit or your Higher Power, however you perceive him, has given each of us. When there are troubling issues in our lives the best thing is to isolate the issue, think it out, decide what is the worst and the best that can happen if we were to do nothing, then on the other hand what can you do as your own person to make the issue
better for you and your life at the present time. Endlessly focusing on the negative is not good for my soul, I cannot do it myself or be around too much of it in my relations with others. There is a time to be born, a time to die, a time to plant and a time to sow, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time for learning, a time for sharing knowledge and feelings, a time for oneself, learning about self, how we can be a person we like.
We are all worthy of taking this time for self discovery.
Every day is Earth Day...please recycle everything and don't throw trash around, teach your children well. For those who don't remember Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, the song is called:
Teach Your Children Well.
You who are on the road
Must have a code that you can live by
And so become yourself
Because the past is just a good bye
Teach your children well
Their father's Hell did slowly go by
And feed them on your dreams
The one they picked, the one you'll know by
Don't you ever ask them why
If they told you, you will cry
So just look at them and sigh
And know they love you
And know they love you
And you, of tender years
(Can you hear me and do you care, can't you see)
Don't know the fears that your elders grew by
(You must be free to teach your children)
And so please help them with your youth
(What you believe in)
They seek the truth before they can die
(Make a world that we can live in)
Teach your parents well
Their children's Hell did slowly go by
And feed them on your dreams
The one they picked, the one you'll know by
Don't you ever ask them why
If they told you, you will cry
So just look at them and sigh
And know they love you
And know they love you

I don’t believe that love is something one sets out in search of
I think it just happens when the time is right or the moon is full or the mood strikes or maybe it just happens ~ when you open your heart to everything and everyone around you ~
I pray that you cherish the love that you share for it was destined to dwell there to warm your heart *+^
The turn of the leaves, the chill in the air becons us both to come walk awhile there! There in the fields, amidst grass and cut stalk, dog, she will run, while I simply walk.
She’ll cast to and fro, nose to the air searching the game we know to be there! Up the row, down the row steadily she casts while I watch intently; the signal at last!
I sneak up slowly toward game that’s been found; yet to me is unseen, as I look o’r the ground. Keen senses attuned, our hair all a bristle with one last step; it explodes from the thistle! With the rush of the start, the shot’s never heard but, shortly thereafter she brings me the bird!
We’ll walk awhile longer toward setting of Sun both, knowing well a good day's been done; by a dog, an old man and, his trusted old gun."
Just a special Thank You to all my special furiends who worked so hard on that day and the many days that followed. For so many reason.....we will never forget.
Please take 7 minutes to listen that 13 years old child and when you think like I, that the whole world should listen to that girl than please send this Video to all your friends too

Just because you're grown up, doesn't mean you don't need someone to confide in. In fact, logic dictates that the opposite is true. Life becomes more complex and difficult as we get older. The people that we confide in as adults are very valuable. We usually choose our friends based on common interests that we share. We may have different friends for the variety of activities that we engage in. The important thing is that there is sense of mutual respect, and caring for each other. Smile! Have a wonderful day my dear friend! Peace and love always
If I could catch a rainbow I would do it just for you. And share with you it's beauty On the days you're feeling blue.
If I could build a mountain You could call your very own. A place to find serenity A place to be alone.
If I could take your troubles I would toss them in the sea. But all these things I'm finding are impossible for me, I cannot build a mountain Or catch a rainbow fair But let me be...what I know best, a friend that's always there.

Hear what I have to say

We know where the musics playin
Lets go out and feel the night." ~ Neil Young

CREATION
When God had made the earth and sky
The flowers and the trees.
He then made all the animals
And all the birds and bees.
And when His work was finished
Not one was quite the same.
He said, "I'll walk this earth of mine
And give each one a name."
And so He traveled land and sea.
And everywhere he went
A little creature followed Him
Until its strength was spent.
When all were named upon the earth
And in the sky and sea,
The little creature said, "Dear Lord,
There's not one left for me."
The Father smiled and softly said,
"I've left you to the end.
I've turned my own name back to front
And called you "Dog", my friend."
Thanks for bearing with me while work tries to grind this "ol'fart" to a pulp.
(Doing a pretty good job of it, too!)
