WELCOME TO MY PAGE!!!
I'VE TRAVELED THE WORLD AND MET HAPPINESS AND STRIFE HEAD ON, AND I'M STILL BANG'N AWAY. I'M LIKE A ROCK'UM SOCK'UM ROBOT....I'LL KEEP SWING'N, TIL ME HEAD POPS UP!!!!
I am me, first and foremost. I’ve spent the entirety of my adult life in the armor of a soldier. I was a good warrior, but I had to let it go. I’ve seen a lot of this world but all through the jaded eyes of a soldier. Now I would like to experience all this life has to offer. I’ve kicked more dirt from my boots than most will ever want to see. I’ve witnessed both miracle and tragedy. I’ve drank from the challis of pure joy when I witnessed the birth of both my children, only later to taste the absolute bitterness of sobering sorrow by burying my 16 year old son. I wasn’t ready. I’ve marched myself into mediocrity for the sake of the team’s superiority. I’ve given my all and asked for nothing in return. Be careful of what you ask for, you may just receive it, I did. I had a friend once tell me "Ya been rode hard and put away wet"!! I've reached a point in my life where the "Happy Hour" is a nap. I’ve fought inch by inch for every mile I’ve gained. I’ve loved, lost and learned sooo much about myself. I fit the skin I’m in. I love being me!! I am me, first and foremost. I love to laugh and can see the humor in most things. I’m told my laugh is quite contagious….“A spoonful of sugar really does help the medicine go down”!!!! I’ve met so many great people and made lasting friendships; I’ve fought along side some of this world's greatest soldiers, and partied with this world's funniest drunks. I was entrusted with the lives of so many good souls, I lost none but my own. When you see me I’ll be smiling, even when masking the pain. I said my final good-bye to my mother…my strength…in June of 2006. I wasn’t ready. But life doesn't wait till your ready. I love meeting new people. I don’t like negativity. I love meeting positive, upbeat and playful people. "I know you are but what am I." HA HA HA!! I am me, first and foremost. Tragedy and adversity really let'cha know who you and your true friends are!!! Don’t judge me…..’cause I’m not judging you. I see life not as a contest to be won or lost, but as a journey to be lived and loved. Friendship shouldn't use or be used, but cherished. I believe that friends are quiet angels who lift us to our feet when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly. If you fall I will help you back on your feet. If I fall will you help me, or will I rise only to find that it was you that tripped me? I am a very loyal friend and would give you the shirt off my back. It won’t fit you ‘cause I am a big boy. HA HA HA HA!!!!
