Sounds Like
Jimi meets Jerry meets Trey meet Gilmour meets Clapton meets Cobain meets [insert any other current or vintage guitar god here] meets Wolfgang. Think: what if Wolfgang Amadeaus had an electric guitar, dropped out of reality for a while, and sang rock songs?
Wolfgang is happy to announce that the Frozen In Time EP is almost done! Yeah! Listen to the first three songs above, hot out of the studio October 2009. If you like what you hear, be sure to tell a friend!
The Sound:
Fluid, melodic, pleasantly unpredictable. Wolfgang's indie psychedelic rock creations reach into new musical territory. After making a name for himself in Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Las Vegas, Eugene, and California as Founder and Leader of the experimental/improvisational Rizomatic Orchestra, Wolfgang recently relocated to Portland, Oregon where he just recorded "Frozen in Time," the latest EP of Wolfgang's newest project "Sons of the Late DC."
Wolfgang is known internationally for his jaw-dropping improvisational guitar. Wolfgang is also an extraordinary singer/songwriter with evocative lyrics and textured vocals that soothe and heal your soul.
Seeing Wolfgang play has been compared to watching "history in the making"(wendysue - Sep 7, 2008 Deadnetcentral.com).
Hey Wolfgang. Stop in The Hutch on Glisan on a Tuesday sometime. I started hosting an open mic there. I'm sure you'd tear it up and it would be good to see you. Peace out, C
