Sofa Surfers presents his first solo album under his new moniker I-Wolf.
"Soul Strata" is something of a reflection of the artists' personal life.
The result is a wonderfully stringent and complete record dedicated to that one eternal theme: Love.
The vocals and lyrics on "Soul Strata" were supplied by Ken Cesar, Damon Aaron, DJ Collage, Daelek and Patrick. In his collaborations with these extraordinary vocalists,
I-Wolf casts a sublime view onto the roots of Soul and R&B which is miles away from the polished hi-tech glamour of conventional mainstream orthodoxy.
This album succeeds, seemingly without effort, in bringing together European electronic culture,
transatlantic beat science and the sort of deep, emotional impact of a record which helps to redefine the meaning of "Soul" in the 21st century.
KABELTON is in love! Usually, the enfant terrible of the minimal scene is better known as a restless insomniac and won't even stop producing disturbingly catchy techno tracks while eating, dancing or going berserk to the beat. That was before he met IVANA, however.
No romantic wallpaper to play during a candle light dinner perhaps. But then KABELTON is not the guy to disrespect his roots not even when he's in love.
