Sounds Like
We don't stick to one predictable sound like so many other bands out there. We've got the riffs, the melodies and the balls to take on the world.
The group began life as the brainchild of WOLF LAW's two principal songwriters Roy Townsend (guitar) and Sean Morris (vocals/lead guitar) and is a direct reult of the pair's combined feelings of dissapointment and resentment towards the current musical climate and it's anti-rock n' roll ideals. Twice weekly songwriting sessions ensued and the two friends set about writing the quality of songs that they personally were desperate to hear.
After spending roughly four months fine-tuning their compositions they began their search for other like-minded individuals to join their ranks. This potentially soul-destroying hunt lead them (quite naturally) to their local pub where, over several Brown Ales and whiskey chasers, they drunkenly discussed their plans to assault the local rock 'scene' with bearded barman, and powerhouse drummer, Phil aka: 'Zombie Flesh'. Being currently bandless and eager to get back behind the kit following a severed tendon in his hand, Phil duly accepted the duo's offer of being the full-time drummer for WOLF LAW. All that was needed now was a bassist. Up stepped old friend/musical prodigy/general weirdo Antony Cooper (previously of acclaimed Bedford band Delicate Children) and at long last the pack was complete.
The rehearsals that followed were exciting, drunken affairs fueled by a heady mix of cheap cider, Ephedrine pills and and a unwavering determination to succeed. The riffs, solos, jokes and arguments flowed as freely as the alcohol and the songs that had been originally concieved in a shed (don't ask!), soon began to take on a life and soul of their own.
It was around this time, shortly after their debut gig, that the quartet caught the attention of legendary Esquires promoter and local musical entrepreneur Paul Craven. He was looking for a exciting band to supervise and approached the band with his ideas and suggestions. They unsuprisingly accepted his offer of management.
Following much hard work and many celebrated gigs in and around their hometown, culminating in a triumphant show at Milton Keynes Pitz, Antony made the decision to leave WOLF LAW to pursue his own, slightly stranger, musical vision. To help ease the gloom surrounding his departure however Antony suggested a replacement he knew of and urged the boys to try out a weird-haired, young punk bassist called Jason 'Nothing Else'.
To Jasons's credit he picked up the songs quicker than anyone could have imagined and added some new dynamics to the band. The final member to leave was their drummer Phil. He was replaced by Lee from local band Gain.
WOLF LAW have continued to go from strength to strength playing many genre-spanning gigs up and down the country with the likes of metal band Beyond All Reason, old-school punks The Vibrators and up-and-coming punk n' roll band The Smoking Hearts. And have recently finished recording their debut E.P (Swingin' The Bottle) with local legend Nick Mailing (mastered by Russ Russell of Wildhearts/Napalm Death fame). They are currently looking for a record company to take them on...so...any takers?

WOLF LAW are a high-energy rock n' roll outfit based in Bedford, England. Drawing inspiration from every important facet of musical history including classic rock, country, metal, punk n' roll and everything notable in between, their sound proves itself to be difficult to pigeonhole. Thunderous aggressively-played riffs underpin unforgettable melodies and anthemic choruses that are solidified by a recognizable songwriting ability and taut, dynamic arrangements. Their well recieved and furiously energetic live show has been described by one reviewer as "all about the passion, sweat and noise!"
