Other than my love for primitive canids, I am also a woodcarver in the style of the Native tribes of the Pacific Northwest, and I have been a long-time student and teacher of Chinese martial arts.

Although Classical music is my mainstay, I am also a big fan of soundtrack movie music, pop music of the 60s and 80s as well as ethnic and off-the-wall eclectic music. One of my latest favorite bands is The Killers.

I am a big movie nut, but my faves are film noir and scifi.

Although I do most of my tv watching through my eyelids, there is the occasional regular program I enjoy, such as "Monk" (my wife thinks I may be too much like him...LOL!) "Dr. Who" and the spin-off,"Torchwood", older scifi shows like the "Outer Limits" (both the old and new series), "Babylon 5"...and almost anything weird and strange. Newer viewing preferences are "Pushing Daisys","Dead Like Me", "Fringe" and "Burn Notice".

I'm Mike, and Wolfdogs and Wolves are my life and my obsession. Although I love all dogs regardless of size or breed, 'primitives' such as Malamutes, Siberian huskies, Inuit dogs, etc., hold a very special place in my heart.
In addition to being the Vice President of Wolfdog Rescue Resources, Inc., a non-profit rescue organization that is nation-wide and Canada, I am also the Adoption and Transportation Coordinator for Grandmother's Rescue Center here in California. (My wife is the Treasurer for WRR).
My primary purpose for joining MySpace is to network with other wolfdog and wolf rescues, sanctuaries, foster homes, and just about anyone who shares my passion for these unique and special animals.

I'm back. Just wonding to tell u I had a emergery and had to go to whitcha Kansas to see my mom at my brother house. she been sleeping for three days and God told her that her daughter and granddaughter was comin in.... she woke up and we talk and had fun... the first thing she said was dont cry yet... She just hanging there. She is 77 year old. Just wanted to thank u all for the prayers and comments to keep me going...
