A personal note from Erik Wolf, owner of Wolf Mastering:
Like most of you, over the past few years, I've started to notice a major shift in the music industry. Whereas bands once had to rely on the industry to create a great record, with today's technology, you can DO IT ON YOUR OWN. You can record great tracks in a small home studio and mix your songs with a host of amazing low-cost gear and plug-ins. The final step (and one that's often overlooked by artists/bands) is MASTERING. The mastering process takes a finished mix and makes it radio ready. Running it through various stages of hi-end eq/compression/analog processing, it sweetens the tracks and gives them that "polished" sound you can't get in a home studio. That's where Wolf Mastering comes in. Send us a message and tell us about your band. What's your sound, what records do you love, what's your end goal for these recordings. We'll work with you to get the sound you're looking for at VERY reasonable rates.
