Austin Independent Filmmakers Embark on Caribbean Island Feature Film Adventure Wolfpack Film Group continues to make independent films in spite of economy and shrinking Texas Film Market. The prodigious filmmakers embark on a carribean adventure to film "Culebra Story," a contemporary drama with a supernatural flair.Austin, Texas (PRWEB) October 15, 2008 -- Producer Robin Blesch and several Wolfpack Film Group crew members departed Friday October 10 for a remote island in the Caribbean to shoot the independent feature film "Culebra Story" for Blue Paper Film Works and WPFG Studios.
WPFG studios and the Wolfpack Film Group successfully wrapped principal photography on "Anything for Now," a SAG ultra low budget feature film shot in Austin, TX using an all Texas cast and crew with a micro-budget of under a million dollars. The film Produced by Robin Blesch wrapped two days ahead of schedule and a few thousand under budget, which is virtually unheard of! The film’s second press release web activity reached more than 25k in the first day.
Blade of the King was nominated for best action sequence at the Action on Film International Film Festival in Long Beach, CA. Blade of the King won second place in the trailer pilot category at the Indie Gathering Film Festival in Cleveland, OH.
Robin produced the "I Need Your Love" music video for From the Flames Productions and Leandro Fossi with the crew from The Wolfpack Film Group in the summer of 2006.

Robin is a Senior at the top of her class
at the University of Texas at Austin. She is currently majoring in Anthropology/Archaeology.
She has always had a love for film and a love for history and culture,
which is what attracted her to her first film project, the "Blade of the King"
concept film. After producing that project, she was hooked on making films.
Robin is a Constant Multi-tasker with a strong eye for detail. She has the
ability to manage small or large groups, and has experience running film sets
with up to a 50-man crew. Her exceptional outside the box thinking, rapid
problem solving abilities, and great financial skills paired with her tactical
and strategic planning skills make her a valuable asset to any production.
Robin's drive for success and willingness to go the extra mile make her one of
From the Flames Productions' (FTFP) key
leaders, and one of the reasons she made partner after only her first year with
the company.

Hope Cassidy Music Video (2006)
AMFM Studios, The Wolfpack Film Group, and From the Flames Productions Shot a music video for Hope Cassidy, a Texas singer. The video was shot on the JVC GY100HD camera with an M2 Red Rock Micro 35mm adapter and 35mm lenses. The video was shot at Nuno's on 6th st. and various other locations around Austin. The video is currently in Post-Production, and will be posted on this page when editing is complete.
Robin was a Producer on this project.
Hope Cassidy Behind the Music (2006)
This is project takes a look into how the Hope Cassidy Music Video was put together. This mini-documentary shows two exciting days of shooting in Downtown Austin, several dedicated filmmakers, and one talented TX singer.
Robin is the behind the scenes Vidiographer, the producer, and the editor on this project.

Short Synopsis:
Adam, a hapless married man is dragged to a marriage counseling meeting with his "adorable" wife. After they gang up on him, he escapes to the restroom and comes to the realization that when life sucks, flush it.
"Flushed" is a short film derived from the opening pages of the feature length script "Stuck Universe" by writer/directors Jimmy Willden & Chris Thompson
This film is currently in pre-production, and slated to shoot in January 13th-14th and 20th-21st.
Robin is the Producer on this film.
Diabulus In Musica (2006)
This award winning short film was shot for the 2006 Blood Shots 48-Hour Horror Film Festival. The entire thing had to be written, filmed, edited, and scored in 48-hours.

Most of the actors were crewmembers, so we were pretty much all working in front of and behind the cameras the whole time.

Hidden Places (2006)
A four-time award winning short film done as
part of The 48-Hour Film Competition, a world wide filmmaking competition. Robin
was the Second Assistant Director and the Location Manager on this project,
where she assisted Producer Angela Lee (Head of the Austin Film Society) in
managing a 50-man crew. This film is currently in the festival circuit.
Inside the SCA (2006) A Short documentary about life as a member
of the SCA. Robin was the Producer and Editor on this project.
Fire Fox Saves the Day (2006) A mock commercial produced for Adam
Roth (A Wolfpack member). It was produced for entry in a commercial contest.

You Rang Video (2006) A web intro for an Austin business owner.
Robin was the Producer and Editor on this project.
In June of 2006, Robin served as 2nd Assistant Director/ Location Manager on an
award winning Short film entitled "Hidden Places" that was fully created in 48
hours as Part of a worldwide 48-hour film competition. WEBSITE

WPFG Studios and Producer William Blesch would like to invite you to a completely hands-on Film Lighting Workshop taught by veteran director of photography, Chris Obal on June 17th, 2008 at the Golden Touch Enrichment Academy in Austin, Tx.
There are currently thirty (30) slots open for those wishing to learn the basics of film and video lighting. Going from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. (with a small break for lunch) this eight-hour workshop will give those who wish to pursue a career path leading to a director of photography position a firm knowledge base from which to launch that career.
These foundational basics are also great for the first time guerilla filmmaker, the film student who is fed up with only getting theory, as well as filmmakers who normally work in the camera department or directorial unit, and who wish to expand their knowledge base.
Subjects covered in the eight hour workshop will include:
