Wolfthorn

Wolfthorn hail from Lancaster in the North West of England, and play a heartfelt and uniquely British take on black metal. Combining the speed, brutality and raw aggression of the extreme metal scene with the extended guitar solos and twin lead sections of more traditional Heavy Metal, their songs chronicle the rich history and folklore of the British Isles and hark back to a lost age when men were one with the land, and would fight and die to defend what they held dear from the corrupting influence of foreign invasion.

Wolfthorn play live regularly in the North West, but will be branching out and playing in other areas of the country over the coming months, so keep an eye out for them live as well as for their debut EP entitled Echoes Of A Forgotten Past which was released in October 2010 and is available for purchase directly from the band. The band have absolutely no political or religious agenda whatsoever, before anyone else feels to open that particular can of worms.
