"A hundred years from now, it will not matter the sort of house I lived in, what my bank account was, or the car I drove...but the world may be different because I was important in the life of the animals and the creatures on this earth."
Anything to do with animals, the beach, mountains, gardening, the scent of rain as it fills the sky.
I enjoy some sports-both as a participant and viewing....especially if there's a group of friends watching and partying-just havin a good time.
Hiking/exploring, swimming...
Working towards changing the laws so that animal abuse is a Felony, and is actually enforced.
If you cannot attain knowledge without torturing a dog, you must do without knowledge.
- George Bernard Shaw
Probably couldn't live without it! I listen to almost anything. I love going to listen to bands~or shows at the beach. I like most music styles-love southern rock, anything with a message, and anything that can get my feet moving. In my private time I play around with the guitar and harmonica..
For me to name all the artists I listen to~the list would never end....

I stand with the Tiger as they make their last stand.
I stand with the tiger against the ravage of Man.
I stand with the animals pushed to the wall.
The Rhino, the Panda, I stand with them all.
I stand with the great Apes. The gorilla's my kin,
and I wouldn't want to live in a world they're not in.
I stand with the wolf, the she wolf and cub
against steel jawed traps that would leave them a nub.
I stand with the Whale. I stand and I weep
over all of their blood that was shed in the deep.
I stand with the elephant, so noble and bold,
who are killed for their tusks that are hacked off and sold.
I stand with the animals. I love one and all,
and I think to myself, surely this is Man's fall.
We're burning the Garden. We're cutting her trees.
I stand and I beg, I plead, people STOP, PLEASE!
Yet my heart knows that this won't be enough.
If we stand with the Tiger, we'll have to get tough.
For this is our last stand. We're all on the brink.
We have to just stop it, and take time to think.
We must face the truth that we're killing our self.
We must start to value our planet's true wealth.
It's not in the gold that is hid in her soil,
and it's not in the steel, and it's not in the oil.
It's not in the stuff that these things will build.
For what good is it all after everything's killed?
What joy in a world if we're in it alone,
with her beauty destroyed, and our hearts turned to stone?
Oh we might still live on, but surely not well,
for we will have turned our fair Garden to Hell.
I Stand with the Tiger by David Nazar
Heroes
Not really a "hero", but someone I highly admire nonetheless, and am indebted to for the work she does for Canine Epilepsy-Joanne Carson. Her knowledge&kindness enabled me to have 2 more years with my wolfdog, Bandit.
About me: I'm just "me" ~ simple, yet complex...often misunderstood; especially when it comes to how strongly I feel for animals. Spending 2 weeks at Best Friends Animal Society in Kanab, Utah was a life changing experience for me.
I'm Vegan, and try to eat as Raw as possible; for the most part, I do pretty well in that vein. In deciding to eat compassionately-I started to lose weight-ultimately losing 141 Lbs in the end...with a few more Lbs to go, but I'm ok with that because I'm finally becoming comfy in my own skin.
My eyes tend to change color with my mood at times...but are basically amber/light brown.
I want to draw attention~not to me, but as a euphemism of sorts. At this point in our existence-EVERY living thing on this earth is suffering at the hands of humans-even humans.
Please---pay attention, and DO something!
ANYTHING that validates a better world for Mother Earth and her inhabitants, is worthy of a small bit of effort at least. Stand up, speak, sing, write, visit and help those who have no voice of their own-BE their voice-every small action becomes the domino effect for every living being, and will create a world in which we all can possibly survive. "Be Kind To Everything That Lives" and create smiles along the way on every path you walk.

THE ANIMALS' SAVIOR
I looked at all the caged animals in the shelter . . . the cast-offs of human society.
I saw in their eyes love and hope, fear and dread, sadness and betrayal. And I was angry.
"God,", I said, "this is terrible! Why don't you do something?"
God was silent for a moment, and then He spoke softly. "I have done something,", He replied. "I created You."

Oh hear our cries In the dark of the night... Our head held high Singing songs of our plight... You kill us for sport... for fun... and for fear Hear our cries for your mercy Feel our sadness and tears... We have never taken life from humankind But your heartfelt mercy is nowhere to find... If you could only imagine The pain that we feel... You would never consider Making our misery so real... We have feelings and we love For our hearts are true Hear our cries in the night... Hear our song to you...
