it was my dad's first signing, he's in spain at the moment, apparently he bumped into ronaldinho in a bar, bought him a few whiskeys then when he was nice and pissed my dad drew up a quick contract, persuaded ron that it was his bill and got him to sign it. bonzer! he has agreed, through the contract, to pay barcelona his own transfer fee, reputed to be in the area of 35 million euros. unfortunately he's not registered yet so he can't play tomorrow. boo :(
COME ON!!!
good training this week boys, looking forward to tuesday... are we still training on wednesday? and does anybody have a goalkeeper jersey I can borrow for the match? cheers mateys... AARRGGHH!
Forest Ladies play Arsenal
Forest Ladies were humbled as they were taught a painful lesson in the art of football. Arsenal were dominant throughout the 90 minutes friendly fixture as Forest appeared never to start their game. An unrecognisable Forest could not stop the barrage of goals which resulted in an emphatic victory for the visiting side.
This ultimately proved to be a basic stroll in the park for Arsenal as Forest were outplayed and outclassed across many areas of the pitch.
Forest players were clearly star struck from the offset with a host of internationals in the Arsenal side leaving the Forest players in awe. This was compounded as Kelly Smith was gifted a free kick on 4 minutes which was struck with technical brilliance to leave the keeper no chance. With a goal down at such an early stage things got from bad for worse for forest as a further three goals from Smith combined with Katie Chapman (1), Sian Larkin (1), Leanne Sanderson (1) and captain Jane Ludlow (1) left Forest demoralised and humiliated at the end of 90 minutes.
There were glimpses of good play for Forest, but it was too little and too ineffective to cause Arsenal any concern.
