Hi mate, really good to hear from you. Unfortunately, I may well be in London on that weekend as The Egg (funky electro/rock band) cancelled their gig (for the second time this year) at The Exeter Phoenix. I emailed their Contact page and the drummer said they'll be playing a gig at the London Scala on Sat 22nd Nov. No tickets on sale yet but I've got it pencilled in just in case. It would be cool if we could arrange a more banging dance night out than Gogol Bordello, was just suggesting what type of gigs were on in Exeter really. How about you join me and Oz in London for The Egg on Sat 22nd Nov or Dreadzone (dub/dance/reggae) band on Fri 7th Nov? Cheers, Benji
Hi mate, Thanx for your comment. Don't get many of those these days, everyone's on Facebook now but not me! We have some good gigs coming up this autumn. I'm off to Amsterdam for a few days during half-term week to celebrate my Mum's 60th Birthday. We have Stanton Warriors this Sat night, Krafty Kuts and DJ Fresh next Fri 26 Sep, Jose Gonzalez on Thu 16 Oct, Roots Manuva on Fri 24 Oct, Dreadzone on Fri 7 Nov, Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain on Sat 15 Nov, and Gogol Bordello on Sat 22 Nov, any of which we may go to. I also have a week off from 6-10 Oct. You'd be welcome to come down and stay for the weekend any time mate, let me know what's good for you!
