I like anything with close harmony. I like alternative rock, pop punk (some punk, depends on the song), pop, a lot of adult contemporary style music. I don't care for rap or most hip/hop, although I saw Toby Mac in concert once and live I would definitely see him again... awesome performer. And lyrics matter to me... don't like vulgarity. ..
Movies
Some favorites: Shadowlands, A Walk to Remember, Miracle at Moreaux, Lord of the Rings, trilogy... all three of them :) It's a Wonderful Life, the original b&w of A Christmas Carol... haven't seen a better production of "Scrooge" since and I loved Sargeant York. I wouldn't normally consider myself a huge Jim Carey fan, but I loved his movies The Truman Show and The Majestic. The Dark Knight was unbelievable. I liked Ice Age, Shrek, Finding Nemo, Surf's Up and Kung Fun Panda. I just watched Horton Hears a Who recently, and it was cute. I like romantic movies. I like based on true story movies if well done. I admit to liking action/adventure movies, even though most of them have things in them I'd rather they didn't (overly graphic, sex or bad language which are mostly unnecessary.)Television

About me:
My kids are grown, I'm enjoying myself immensely. I love going to concerts, concert photography, listening to music, playing with my karaoke machine, doing crossword puzzles, studying God's word, and when I'm up to it, gardening - can't tell it the last few years, though. I want to do some more macro photography at some point, but I don't have all the lighting and extension tubes to do the best job, but I do have a great 100 mm macro lens. If you're band grants me a photo pass, I'll most likely love you... definitely... maybe. ;)
