Wombat Carnival has been around since about 1994. We've played all over the midwest. We play for fun. For Beer. For Money. For us. Luckily, enough people like what we do to fill up the venues we play. Our influences are all over the board. I've worn out many albums (yes, albums) of the first Psychedelic Furs offering. It was brilliant. Miles Hunt of the Wonder Stuff is probably my favorite songwriter. People often mistake us for being an English band. We are not...but the influences do come through. We don't apologize for that. We hope you like what we do. We have numerous cd's available and a new one entitled '...and here come the elephants' should be available shortly - which is just Vandy and myself.
