About me:
The mission of Women Against Abuse (WAA) is to provide quality and compassionate services, in a manner that fosters self-respect and independence in persons who have been victimized by domestic violence. WAA is one of the largest domestic violence programs in Pennsylvania. Last year, we reached 10,768 people through emergency housing, legal services, hotline counseling, education and advocacy. We operate the only shelter in Philadelphia that specifically serves victims of domestic violence and founded the nation’s first legal center for domestic violence victims.Visit iPledgeWAA.org to find out how you can help Women Against Abuse take action against domestic violence.
