Joanna Chapman-Smith grew up in a musical family that has its roots in New Zealand, Italy and Brazil and her songs are as eclectic as her upbringing. Kate Reid is a whip smart wordsmith armed with a guitar, a cache of harmonicas and a knack for candid story-telling and songwriting that is charged with humour and social-political commentary. A straight shooter but definitely not straight, she is as charming as she is in-your-face and is one of the most original, incisive and entertaining songwriters to appear on the scene in a long time.

Swedish-born songwriter, Sarah MacDougall is a storyteller, entertainer and minstrel with a haunting voice and songs to match. Her music rips your heart out, twists it around and then gently coaxes it back home and her Euro-Folk Americana style has earned her the reputation as one of the best emerging singer/songwriters of western Canada.
