About me:

Women of color weekend this year is June 4th - 9th, 2009 in ptown. This is a nonprofit event organized to build the women's community and bring women together.

Lynette Molnar, the force behind Girl Power Productions, began promoting women’s events when she was 19 by strolling down Commercial Street in Provincetown greeting visitors and inviting them to attend one of the first lesbian plays ever produced. In between going to the Tea Dance every single afternoon at The Boatslip that summer, and to The Pied every night, she filled the theatre day after day with women from around the country. Since then, she’s been hooked.
