The mission of Women’s Professional Soccer (WPS) is to be the premier women’s soccer league in the world and the global standard by which women’s professional sports are measured. WPS teams are based in Atlanta, Bay Area, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New Jersey/New York, Philadelphia, St. Louis, and Washington, D.C. WPS will expand to Atlanta and Philadelphia in 2010 and continues to explore additional potential franchises for 2010 and beyond.

beating the 3rd seed, then the 2nd seed and today in the championship game
beating the #1 seeded team in the league to win the WPS
Championship. Way to show who's the best! Amazing defense throughout the game, and looks like Branam took some pointers from Solo... she had some sweet saves today. Great energy on the offense, adrenaline at it's best. Way to go girls!
