Bianca Dino is a performance DJ, producer, vocalist, and actress, best known for her duo called 3-L-3-Tronic, with DJ Vitamindevo. The two started performing together in Brooklyn, NY in 2005 and recently re-located to the west coast. Creating a live DJ hybrid show that includes about 50 percent original productions, has given them a unique sound that has stood out among the underground. Bianca’s time is split between working on producing singles and remixing with 3-L-3-Tronic, developing their live show, which includes live vocals, drums, synths, effects, and eventually visuals, and working on her electronic music show called Beat Seeker, which she interviews DJs and producers from around the world. Her sound can be described as bass-heavy breaks and chuggy, progressive tech-house, blended with electro to create a low-end journey of build-ups, break-downs, and breakthroughs.
Enter Dulce Vita (pronounced dol-see/vee-tah), a refreshing addition to the full spectrum of DJ talent emerging from San Francisco. Spinning in the American capital of electronic dance music, how does DV stand out? Here, true individuality happens as a result of a musical risk. She provides an energetically urban soundscape of breakbeat - infused with audible hints of intelligent glitch, big beat, chunky electro, tech funk, indie dance, filtered disco, and her signature brand of aggressive intent - when inside the mix.
Dulce considers any single performance very successful if she can make a deeply positive impact on at least one person's experience. Everything else - just icing on the cake. In recent past, Dulce was named WINNER of SF Weekly: City of Spin 2009 (DJ Competition) and her performance at Burning Man earned a prestigious mention in international publication DJ Mag - within the 2008 issue featuring Top 100.
Dulce has held numerous prior DJ residencies at night clubs all over San Francisco. In 2006, she was proud to be selected as the first female to be affiliated with "Opulent Temple" (the infamous mainstage sound camp at Burning Man featuring global talent on 150, 000 watts - www.opulenttemple.org). Her brand new solo event production company is dubbed with the apt alias: DVANT GARDE. She regularly hosts a monthly event every first Saturday - The Freak Show @ Blowfish Sushi. In addition, DV is planning the new release of a summer seasonal event in San Francisco, Womper Womb @ Project One - coming May 2009.
Starting her DJ journey in the 1990's San Francisco underground, Forest Green continues to explore the art of rocking the dance floor, and mastering the mix. 12 years later, she continues taking things to the next level, amazing crowds with her high energy, hot bass lines, and soul gripping grooves. Expect to hear only the freshest jamz, as she searches high and low for the most cutting edge, floor shaking, booty quaking EDM the world has to offer, and brings it straight to you!
She is super excited to be working on her own electronic music production, sometimes under the name Forest Green, and sometimes under the name Cute Things With Fangs on Cute Fang Recordings. Her most recent, original music productions will debut this summer, bringing her back to Europe, Asia, and all over North America.
Forest is a featured DJ in the popular, indie film GROOVE. GROOVE was accepted to the prestigious Sundance Film Festival in 2000, and was the first film bought that year by Sony Picture Classics. Groove is an independent feature film based on one night in the San Francisco Underground Rave Scene back in the early 1990s.
shOOey has been a mainstay in the underground San Francisco dance scene since 2003 after finding her humble beginnings with the Deep End camp at Burning Man. Her energy behind the decks and on the dancefloor is contagious and difficult to contain. Her sound is not easily defined, but you can often find her bouncing at the turntables to electro and tech house and breakbeats that'll move you.
sara kremer (aka tinker) has been producing original beats
out of san francisco since 2003 and continues to satiate the appetites
of the west coast music scene, by adding her tasty tinkerings to the
roster of various parties and festivals. using ableton live and
recording and transforming original sound samples from her travels,
her sound is beat driven, down to mid-tempo, experimental, glitchy,
melodic, and above all tinkery! along with performing her original
tracks live, she enjoys DJing melodic downtempo, dubstep and mid-tempo
breaks, as well as other transcendental sonic delights.
