Harvey Dawson aka Trisco & WonderlandAvenue has been involved in the House scene from 1990 as a record producer and DJ. Begining his career in Bristol, Harvey started Dj'ing with some belt drive turn tables and became hooked... From then he started to Dj and promote his own club nights at the Mandrake and Tube clubs.... After moving back to London in 1992, he signed to Whoop Records in 1994 and released two tracks - Sustain and Hipster which both had immediate impact on the progressive house scene.
With a residency at Rude, SW1 club (now Pacha, London) Harvey began to develop an upfront funky-tech prog-house style sound with a familiar no-nonsense approach to giving the clubbers what they want. This sound also found its way into other residencies at the Ministry of Sound and a two-year residency at his own club night Wonderland Avenue at Plastic People in Oxford Street, London.
Since then there have been Dj sets all over - including Japan, Australia, Privilege and Amnesia in Ibiza, Paris, Greece, Russia, Brazil & pretty much everywhere else on the planet .... .
So to the nuts & bolts:
Making sweet Musak
In 2000, Trisco released Musak on Vinyl Addiction Records, which began to be touted as as the biggest underground track of the year. Described as ground breaking in the music press, Musak became commonplace in DJs boxes across the board: from Sasha and Digweed to the Chemical Brothers, Seb Fontaine and Pete Tong. The track had a massive amount of airplay and soon became Pete Tongs Essential new tune. (05/05/01)
By then the track had been picked up by Positiva and reached .. 27 in the UK Top 40 Chart and had truly become one of the great cross over records and a remix by Steve Lawler added the cherry on the cake for the discerning night owl.
With an impressive list of remixes under his belt; from Kylie to the Chemical Brothers, it wasn't until September 2003 that Trisco released his second single "Ultra" which was huge amongst the big DJ names so much so that it was used on the Radio 1 Summer TV Ad campaign with Seb Fontaine behind the decks.
Harvey as Trisco & Wonderland Avenue is now signed to Positiva, Whoop records, Hope Recordings, Kinky Vinyl & Slammin Muzik in Germany.
Wonderland Avenue's single - "Whitehorse" got full U.K. .. Records 2006 and became Pete Tong's Essential New Tune... with a great burlesque video and a host of remixes..licensed across the World it was the most remixed track of the year.... it's still absolutely massive Worldwide

The new Ibex EP on Juicy Lucy Records, "Until I leave Detroit," is inspired by Ibex's relentless quest for new and provocative sounds. The four songs have very different feelings behind them, but all have that recognizable Ibex vibe… Enjoy!
