"We're all mad here. I'm mad, you're mad...," said The Cat.
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said The Cat.
"Or you wouldn't have come here."
In April 2009, the Russel Industrial Center was taken over by the White Rabbit, the Queen of Hearts, and Miss Alice Liddell herself when Detroit discovered WONDERLAND. This New Year's Eve, we venture down the rabbit hole once again to revisit Lewis Carroll's timeless tale through the innovative neo-vaudeville that dazzled us all this past Spring.
For three nights this Winter, the Hasting's Street Ballroom will be transformed into the storybook landscape of WONDERLAND, so mark your calendars, dust off your tea cups and get ready to count down to 2010 with Alice and all of her friends.
I would imagin,..that anyone whom attended "WONDERLAND" still occasionally hears one of those wonderful songs in there head like... "Painting the roses red...."
Afer having an incrediably weird night in Detroit Friday, attending the show on Saturday brought me back to what it's all about in Detroit. Every person, and part of the show was amazing and I am so thankful to have been able to attend!! <3
