I have a heart for pregnant teens and I love babies. I am into scrapbooking, reading, outdoor activities, like hiking, camping, fishing and gardening. Also photography. The kids tell me I sing way too much! I also love history and visiting historical places. I am a country girl at heart, having been raised in Western Nebraska.

Music
I like most any kind of music except rap. The girls and I mostly listen to Contemporary Christian, but I have a huge selection of all types of music on my Ipod. I love to sing and often sing for church. The kids tell me I have song for everything.
Movies
I love movies and have a huge collection of DVDs. One of my favorite movies is Frequency, just because I believe everything happens for a purpose and I love how that movie illustrates the point. I like all different types of movies, romance, thrillers, comedy, and action.
Television
I love crime dramas like CSI and Law and Order. My two favorite TV shows are ER and Criminal Minds.
Books
I love curling up with a good book and often that is where you will find me. I read everything from historical fiction to many types of non fiction. Some of my favorite authors include Dean Koontz, Frank Peretti, Mark Twain, and Willa Cather. I have a huge book collection and am constantly adding more.
Favorite all time book was The Red Tent by Anna Diamant, second in line was Gone With the Wind.
Heroes
My heroes include...My Grandma, who is an inspiration to me. A wonderful mother and grandmother, who raised 6 children and several of her grandchildren.
My dear friend Bonnie, who has helped me over many a hump in raising my children. She is currently raising and homeschooling 7.

About me: I am a stay at home Mom of five gorgeous daughters wife to an awesome hubby, and owner of a great menagerie of animals. I am a home school teacher, nurse, psychologist, taxi driver, and much, much more. I am probably as conservative as they come and I volunteer in a local pregnancy crisis center and hubby and I lead the youth at our church. I was a military wife for 12 years and now loving life since hubby has been out. After five years in England, which we loved, it took me awhile to find my niche back here in the good old US, but I am loving life in Shenandoah. The girls and I are in the choir at church and we love to sing.

Angie, she pretty much sleeps all the time :) We have had a ruff few weeks since Anja left. Mylee had to have surgery on her stomach, so we have been in and out of the hospital. Hope all is well with you all..Im praying that all this stuff gets worked out with that kid in CA so we can have the kids back next summer, I just cant imagine spending summer with out Anja...
