About me:
The 18th Woods Hole Film Festival will be held from Saturday, July 25th - Saturday, August 1st, 2009, in Woods Hole in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, a salty, sea spray village. It is an eight day showcase of independent film with daily screenings, workshops, panel discussions, staged readings, special events, parties, awards ceremony and more. Check back often to see the exciting events and people that will be a part of our summer celebration!
As an organization, The Woods Hole Film Festival is more than just the summer festival though. We also run the Winter Film Series Dinner & a Movie, XWhaves, Woho Docushop, and a Filmmaker in the Schools Program. Our programs and events are designed for filmmakers and non-filmmakers alike - anyone who is interested in the moving image.

CALL FOR ENTRIES
Students of high school, university or its equivalent in any area of knowledge: you are invited to participate in the Sixth Short Film Contest "Corto Creativo UDC'09" which shall be screened at local cinemas (part of an international movie theater chain) in Tijuana, Baja CALIFORNIA, MEXICO 28, 29 and May 30 2009, 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 PM
Filmmakers and video professionals who want to showcase their short films, can send their submissions, but will not participate in the contest.
The pre-selection of material will take into consideration only the shorts that, in addition to exhibiting a clear narrative situation, have been produced after December 31st . 2006.

The White Sands International Film Festival (23-26 April, 2009) has a new FAN page on Facebook (Facebook converted our group to a page on Jan 13).
