I am a Master’s Graduate who is both a Woodwind
Performer and a PGCE level qualified Music Educator. My main instruments are various Saxophones, Clarinet, Flute and Piccolo. I have led my own band for a number of years whilst continuing to work as a freelance musician. As a result of this work I have toured Europe as a Soloist and
Deputy Musical Director with various bands as well as
regular work in the U.K. I have played in bands for
television and radio broadcasts, performed in Stage
Bands backing the likes of Brian Conley and Shane
Ritchie as well as visiting American singers and
entertainers. I have played seasons and freelance at
holiday camps and undertaken cruise line work, which
has enabled me to perform in and visit many parts of the
world. I am also an Educator teaching instrumental Woodwind performance and jazz and
classical music theory to a varied age range.
