Interests

  • General

    Being busy all the time requires lots of interests...lol

    My big passion is my offroading...specifically, rock crawling. I've been all around the country with my FJ40 or my FZJ80 Land Cruisers...thus far, I haven't traveled through Alaska, but have been in the other 49 states, parts of Canada, Mexico, and a few countries in Europe.

    Part of the offroad addition is camping, I also get in a few camping-only trips every year...most of those are relatively local. I also carry my Gary Fisher mountain bike with me and get in some good hiking too.

    Another hobby is Volleyball...I've been playing quads for about 10 years or so, and while my present job doesn't offer the time to play on any leagues, I'm definitely always up for a pickup game!

  • Music

    Wide variety of likes, but I'm primarily a Fox or Razor listener...also a fan of live local blues music. When driving, my Sirius is usually set to Octane.

  • Movies

    Comedies and action stuff for the most part...not a huge horror flick fan...I'll skip the chick flicks too, unless I'm forced...haha

  • Television

    Actions or comedies in the evenings...nothing that I "must see" every week, but the TV is often on for background noise. I also catch some of the DIY-type automotive shows on Spike TV.

  • Books

    do the comics count?!?

  • Heroes

    My parents and grandparents....would you believe my paternal grandmother kept a jar in the basement labelled 'string, too short to use'?? Amazing people!!
