Interesting microphones and vintage amps galore... A Warm room ambience.
After many years of recording music
in damp basements, living rooms,
store-rooms in industrial buildings,
and bedrooms, Fred Gillen Jr.
is pleased to present Woody's House.
Set in a 150 year old barn, this
place is cozy, has a great vibe,
and nice, warm room ambience thanks
to the recycling of the old cedar
floor boards of this former barn.
We have some interesting microphones
and preamps, tons of vintage amps,
and record digitally with Pro Tools.

James just pointed me to the rough mixes from this weekend. Wow! It was great to hear how well things are sounding. Thanks again for setting me up with your nice amp pairings for laying down my slide tracks. It felt real good sitting on the floor in the wood room in Woody's House. See you again soon,
