Woody is probably best known for being David Bowie's drummer, a Spider From Mars, back in the legendary Ziggy days. Playing on The Man Who Sold The World, Hunky Dory, the aforementioned Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars and Alladin Sane.
His credits also include playing with Art Garfunkel, Joe Elliott & Phil Collen (of Def Leppard fame), Paul McCartney, Edgar WInter, Hossam Ramzy & the Masters of Percussion to name only a few.

Back from LA with his son, Danny (drummer/percussionist and producer) where they recorded some new tracks for the next album. They have an instrumental album out now which features a lot of grooves and a lot of drums! They have a MySpace for 3-D, that's the band name and the album is called Future Primitive.
