I must be getting old because nowadays Im a huge fan of the "less is more approach". These guys have it in abundance:
Robben Ford, Dan Huff, Jay Graydon, Scott Henderson, Steve Lukather, Mike Stern, Larry Carlton, Eric Johnson, Nile Rogers, Dave Gilmore, Jeff Beck, Joe Bonamassa and many, many more
Sounds Like
I have no Idea ! hopefully it just sounds like me with hints of my influences
As a kid I spent hours dreaming about becoming a good guitar player. Friends joked that I was always in a dream world or 'Woody World' as they called it. Well, twenty or so years on, I'm still here dreaming
Over the years I've been lucky to play/record and dep with some incredible musicians including Ed Poole, John Lingwood, Sam Kelly, Rachel Brown, Terry Wilson, Paul Hornsby, Roland Kerridge, Paul Hirsh, Polly Browne and many more. I also managed a stint of going Pro for about five or six years teaching and recording the odd session. Nowadays I mainly play with covers units.
I'm here on my space just to catch up with old friends, discover new artists and to carry on the dream.
